Responsibilities
- Execute strategic sourcing activities end-to-end (RFx processes, price negotiations, contract renewals, etc.) to secure favorable business and commercial terms.
- Develop strategic partnerships with business stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Technology, Events, HR, etc.) to understand and support key initiatives.
- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, supply-market research and pricing audits for the pursuit of continuous cost and performance improvements.
- Manage purchasing and contracting workflows within Sword’s Procure-to-Pay system.
- Support the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key objectives (i.e. cost savings, process effectiveness, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved visibility & control of expenditures).
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant experience, specifically in developing strategic sourcing methodologies, leading cost optimization projects, and managing contract negotiations.
- Experience supporting a range of spend categories, especially in Software, Events, Professional Services, and Facilities.
- Track record of improving efficiencies, scaling operations, and minimizing organizational risk in a high growth business environment.
- Excellent partner relationship management with internal stakeholders and vendors from developing new relationships to managing complex, ongoing partnerships.
- Familiarity using P2P Tools (Coupa, Zip, Airbase, etc.) Google Workspaces, MacOS, Notion, and Jira.
