About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing support of business applications that enable operational excellence across a multi-site manufacturing organization.
- Leads a small internal development team and oversees the lifecycle of internally developed and third-party business applications.
- Focuses on application delivery, systems optimization, integration, and business alignment.
- Manage the application portfolio, ensuring scalability, reliability, and business continuity.
- Oversee full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of application-related issues.
- Manage system integrations between CPQ, CRM, Order Entry, E-Com, ERP, MES, BI tools, and other operational systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of application development experience
- 3+ years in a leadership or team management role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience supporting multiple systems and system integrations
- Full-stack development knowledge (web, database, API integration)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Familiarity with ERP platforms common in manufacturing
- Understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and version control
- Experience with reporting/BI tools preferred.
