About the role

  • Manager, Downstream Marketing at Stryker leading Surgical Care marketing strategies and product launches. Responsible for top-line revenue and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Shape annual marketing plans
  • Lead product launches
  • Develop compelling messaging and value propositions
  • Partner closely with sales and cross-functional teams to accelerate growth and strengthen market position
  • Assess market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
  • Share marketing intelligence and information with the team
  • Interpret competitive analysis and incorporate it into product or portfolio marketing strategy
  • Anticipate future competitive dynamics
  • Develop processes to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of competitive analysis and market intelligence
  • Identify BD targets to drive top-line growth and competitive advantage
  • Connect product, portfolio, and business goals to brand vision and strategy
  • Guide teams in allocating and reallocating marketing resources to support brand loyalty, customer acquisition and retention
  • Advise on the planning and execution of multi-channel sales and marketing strategies
  • Supervise others in the use of data collection, analysis, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to support business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of work experience
  • Experience working in the Medical device industry, marketing, or sales experience
  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of medical device or marketing experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
