About the role
- Data Analyst joining Data Squad at Stay22 to contribute to data insights for decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data pipelines and business intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Neuro Squad on analysis and experimentation to evaluate and guide initiatives aimed at improving ML models
- Collaborate with the Integrations Squad to validate partner integration data, ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports, and align with the Supply team and other stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical and technical expertise
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to support strategic decision-making and uncover growth opportunities
- Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, translating data into concrete actions
- Identify, coordinate, and support A/B tests and experimentation initiatives
- Create, maintain, and evolve dashboards to ensure company-wide visibility and alignment on key metrics
- Train and mentor teams to enable them to perform their own analyses and make data-driven decisions
- Contribute to defining and improving instrumentation, tracking standards, and naming conventions to ensure data consistency and reliability
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity by implementing validation (QA) processes
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in English is required for daily communication with international colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, statistics, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience as an analyst (analytics, data science, BI, strategy, or insights)
- Excellent proficiency in SQL
- Strong experience in data visualization using Looker
- Strong command of data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Python
- Good understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, random forest, etc.)
- Experience with experimentation and A/B testing
- Strong ability to generate insights and make business recommendations
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate resources
