Responsibilities
Provide engineering expertise for state, county, and city roads, ranging from local facilities to arterial and highway projects including: Construction plans preparation, development of 3D models, engineering report preparation, interchange and intersection studies, and specification development.
Work effectively and communicate regularly with clients and federal, state, and local agencies.
Possess a proven track record of successful transportation project development and design.
Participate in professional organizations.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant transportation engineering work experience designing roadway projects, ideally for the Florida Department of Transportation
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to be registered within 6 months
Proficient with Microstation Open Roads Designer
Strong oral communication and technical writing skills
