About the role
- Accounting Specialist ensuring accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable transactions at Sonova. Supporting audits and maintaining financial accuracy across multiple reporting entities.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and cross-charges for key reporting entities, ensuring accuracy and timely booking of AP transactions
- Support the Purchasing Card program and Travel and Expense (T&E) management process
- Maintain financial records through proper filing, scanning, and documentation controls
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Collaborate within the finance team to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
- Experience with SAP preferred
