About the role
- Manager responsible for accounting operations and leading the accounting team at Active Nutrition International. Overseeing financial reporting and compliance in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- You will take on the functional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team, ensuring efficient collaboration and the professional development of team members
- You are responsible for accurate bookkeeping in accordance with HGB as well as the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns across multiple countries
- You will handle monthly reporting under US GAAP for our parent company and ensure compliance with SOX controls
- You will manage cash flow planning and payment transactions
- You are responsible for organising and processing monthly payroll and payments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Requirements
- You have a degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship, plus further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant), and you bring solid professional experience in international accounting standards, tax law and bookkeeping
- You have prior experience as a team lead in an accounting environment or are seeking your first leadership role
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor preferred), ideally with Key User experience in an ERP implementation project
- You work independently, have the drive to take initiative, and are solution- and goal-oriented
- You have business-fluent German and good working knowledge of English
