Project Manager overseeing the construction project of the Disaster Recovery site at SONDA. Managing project timelines, reports, and stakeholder communication in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Act as the PMO (Project Management Office) for the construction project of the DR site, covering everything from contracting to final delivery.
Full project management, including physical-financial schedule, S-curve tracking and status report rituals for senior management, ensuring efficient and well-monitored project execution.
Coordinate and oversee all stages of the project scope.
Prepare a detailed schedule with the activities to be performed by the responsible architect.
Plan, together with the architect and the client’s IT team (SONDA), the actions for each phase of the project.
Lead follow-up meetings focused on delivery planning and preparing progress reports by phase.
Monitor the preparation of the Terms of Reference (TR), validating estimated costs and the implementation project schedule for the Disaster Recovery (DR) site.
Plan, together with suppliers and the SONDA team, the execution of activities related to the DR environment implementation.
Manage schedules and supervise the actions required for DR implementation.
Lead and manage the full development of projects, guiding the design, construction and deployment in accordance with established standards and procedures. Create and manage the plan including budget, monitor it and report on its progress and changes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects in mission-critical environments.
Knowledge of data center environments, networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization and cloud (Azure/AWS/Oracle/Google).
PMP, PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent MBA.
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
ITIL, Scrum Master or Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle).
Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments (industry, financial, healthcare, telecom).
English and Spanish.
