About the role
- Methods Agent supporting operations by optimizing production processes and resolving technical issues through cross-department collaboration in the aeronautics sector.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead in resolving technical issues by coordinating activities with other support departments and providing technical support throughout the entire problem-resolution process
- Manage short- and medium-term projects to optimize production, reduce costs, and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Standardize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production teams
- Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
- Define the tools required for manufacturing or assembling aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects
- Optimize the processes for drafting work instructions and first-article inspection/control documentation.
Requirements
- You hold a college diploma in engineering or an equivalent qualification
- You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- You have experience in the aeronautics/aerospace field
- You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You are highly proficient with SAP and MS Office, notably MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel. You have knowledge of CATIA V5
- You are a strong team player with solid communication skills who can interface with many business partners
- You must demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills and be comfortable in a dynamic, changing work environment
