Responsibilities
- Lead the full scope of plant operations: production, supply chain, maintenance, and logistics
- Ensure delivery of products on time, at cost, and at the highest quality standards
- Build and sustain a strong safety-first culture
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and local regulations
- Define and implement operational strategies aligned with global objectives
- Own and manage the site budget and investment plans
- Monitor performance and drive data-driven decision-making
- Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a strong Gemba mindset (hands-on, field-oriented leadership)
- Identify and implement sustainable process improvements
- Act as a unifying site leader, beyond functional silos
- Foster collaboration, engagement, and a shared vision across teams
- Maintain strong and constructive social relations (unions, works council)
- Operate in a highly international environment, interacting regularly with global stakeholders
- Communicate effectively across cultures and functions
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience, including senior leadership roles in manufacturing / plant operations / supply chain
- Proven experience in Lean / continuous improvement (Six Sigma is a plus)
- Strong experience in matrix environments with cross-functional influence
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and align stakeholders internationally
- Experience with industrial relations (unions, works councils)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented leadership style
- Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
- Ability to travel occasionally (<10%)
