Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of a range of projects within the Built Environment, Power, Waste, and Minerals sectors
- Engage with and shadow experienced professionals to deliver projects
- Become involved in the full breadth of environmental assessment and project management work
- Support the delivery of projects across sectors including Power, Built Environment, and Minerals and Waste
- Shadow a lead Technical Director and/or other senior members of the Planning & EIA team daily
Requirements
- Environmental related degree or post-graduate qualification (or working towards)
- Good knowledge of the EIA Regulations and planning system
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and, if necessary, to manage a team of internal and external consultants
- A keen ability to show initiative when necessary and be involved in business development or industry events
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and some working knowledge of GIS
- In design and MS project experience desirable but not essential
- Good graphics and report presentation skills desirable
