About the role

  • Senior Marketing Manager overseeing brand strategy and campaign execution for a fintech startup. Driving high-impact marketing efforts and shaping company presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of high-impact integrated campaigns, from insight to idea through to project management and execution, for consumers and B2B2C.
  • Write, build and ship marketing assets end-to-end using AI-forward tools
  • Concept and deliver standout B2B events, webinars, and activations that break all category norms
  • Turn events, and brand moments into content that extends reach across social and owned channels
  • Lead and partner with external agencies and creative partners to deliver standout, high-quality work that elevates the Skip brand
  • Contribute to Skip’s go-to-market strategy, messaging, and how we show up across the customer and broker journey
  • Use data to evaluate impact, generate insights, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
  • Own and grow partnerships with mortgage broker aggregator groups, including co-marketing initiatives that drive distribution and adoption
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive measurable business outcomes
  • Identify cultural and category moments, translating them into relevant, high-impact marketing
  • Work with the Head of Marketing in delivering larger brand campaigns and shaping the development of the brand

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in consumer marketing, ideally with past experience in a consumer scaleup or startup - no financial marketing experience necessary
  • Strategic thinker who can roll up sleeves and execute hands-on
  • Strong creative judgement and taste, with a track record of executing innovative marketing campaigns
  • Experience leading marketing events that drive leads
  • Strong marketing foundations — campaign management, channels, and messaging strategy
  • Comfortable building assets yourself and leaning into AI tools (emails, landing pages, performance content, etc.)
  • Bias toward action, experimentation, and shipping. Confident operating in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Skilled at managing stakeholders and influencing partners
  • Curiosity about finance, property, and economic topics that are impacting the next generation of Aussies
  • Experience in roles such as senior marketing manager, senior brand manager, growth marketing manager, strategic planner, account director, brand strategist, brand connections manager
