About the role

  • Paralegal providing support for legal research and document management at Simmons & Simmons. Assisting lawyers and collaborating across practice groups for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting lawyers with legal research, document review, drafting, and transaction management
  • Analysing, collating, and summarising relevant documents and information
  • Researching points of law and preparing reports
  • Managing documents and project management on complex matters
  • Assisting with marketing activities and managing profile raising

Requirements

  • Law graduate with a first or upper second class degree or equivalent
  • Previous paralegal experience or other relevant legal work experience desirable
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous legal database experience desirable
  • Highly organised and methodical approach
  • Attention to detail and independence
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and commercially astute
