About the role
- Construction Finance Manager supporting Shake Shack's development team with capital spending oversight and budget management. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Directly support the Construction, Preconstruction and Procurement functions and generally support the larger Development team.
- Oversee & report on capital spending related to new Shack openings.
- Facilitate all budget accruals and forecasting for the Construction Team by working directly with the Construction Project Managers.
- Partner with representatives from Development, Design, Procurement, and IT to ensure accurate reporting, consolidate budget information and create reports for analysis.
- Support the preconstruction estimating function.
- Create and manage a report that tracks and records PSA and FSA budgets, costs to complete and cost comparisons.
- Qualify and onboard new contractors, maintain a database that tracks active GC’s, approval status, markets, fees, etc.
- Initiate and implement standardization and applicable process improvements.
- Record, track and lead conversations around historical cost analytics.

- 2-4 years Related Experience
- Construction and/or Financial Management in a Restaurant Environment preferred
