About the role
- Legal Counsel responsible for legal review of IT contracts and public tenders in an international setting. Engaging with various departments and external legal advisors to support legal disputes and contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Legal review of public and private tenders in the field of information technology
- Negotiation of national and international procurement, sales, outsourcing and project contracts
- Preparation of legal opinions and decision papers
- Support of business units in day-to-day legal matters
- Out-of-court handling of legal disputes
- Support in litigation and management of external counsel
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer with a law degree and the German Second State Examination (2. Staatsexamen)
- Native-level German
- Business-fluent English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Several years of legal professional experience, preferably in an international commercial enterprise (advantageous)
- Knowledge of IT law and public procurement law (advantageous)
