IT Product Group Owner leading HR-IT-Product teams for Schaeffler. Driving international IT projects and defining workforce strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide functional leadership and direction to the HR-IT product teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Steer five Product Owners and support them in their technical leadership roles.
Lead the management of the HR-IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and HR strategy.
Facilitate the delivery of international IT projects, guiding the teams to ensure successful execution.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating discussions and decisions regarding product features, timelines, priorities, expectations, and the product vision.
Take full responsibility for the HR-IT budget and hold the Product Owners in the Product Group accountable for their figures.
Define the international strategy for internal and external workforce together with the leadership team.
Negotiate contracts with external service providers and ensure contract terms and durations are properly monitored.
Collaborate with other HR IT teams to deliver integrated solutions, especially where interdependencies affect multiple teams or solutions.
Work closely with the leadership team consisting of the People & Competence Manager (PCM), the Scrum Master (SCM), and the Product Line Manager of Enterprise Applications.
Requirements
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
Extensive experience (10+ years) leading teams and leaders, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or a similar role, specifically within HR IT.
Technical system knowledge of SAP HCM, Employee Central, and SuccessFactors.
Several years of experience implementing digitalization projects.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA.
Proficient in managing transformation processes and implementing change management strategies.
Good understanding of enterprise integration and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
