About the role
- Engineer directly liaising between company and client product development areas in the automotive sector. Responsibilities include product development, client training, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Act as the direct contact between the Company and clients' product development departments in the industrial sector;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients;
- Develop new products and new applications for existing products;
- Analyze product failures and support field investigations and production deviations;
- Analyze clients' technical requirements and assess the technical and economic feasibility of projects;
- Conduct benchmarking, develop and apply new technologies, optimize applications and products, participate in cost-reduction initiatives and patent development;
- Deliver presentations and training at client sites;
- Provide technical support during product quotation processes;
- Develop and manage projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
- Experience in product development and mechanical design/projects;
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and quality tools;
- Experience in the railway industry, industrial automation, and/or two‑wheeler sector is a plus;
- Willingness to travel to client sites;
- Knowledge of bearing selection is a plus;
- Advanced MS Office skills;
- Experience with SAP and Power BI;
- Knowledge of BearinX is desirable;
- Advanced English;
- Spanish is desirable;
- Knowledge of Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) is desirable.
