About the role
- Jira/Enterprise SaaS Engineer enhancing and scaling Atlassian solutions for sports betting industry leader. Collaborating with teams to optimize workflows and improve efficiency in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with team members to identify, document, and support business use cases across our core SaaS platforms
- Design, configure, and optimize Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management to support evolving business needs
- Implement scalable workflows, automation, permissions, data structures, dashboards, and reporting standards
- Enhance Confluence architecture through thoughtful space design, templates, and documentation best practices
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and automation tools to improve platform connectivity
- Develop scripts and automation to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues and contribute to governance, upgrade planning, and compliance efforts in partnership with Security and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Hands-on experience administering Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management), including workflows, automation, permissions, and system configurations
- Experience supporting integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, automation tools, and SSO solutions (e.g., Okta or similar IdP)
- Solid understanding of SaaS security best practices, including role-based access control and least privilege principles
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment and learning under senior engineering guidance
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance as needed
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-520) preferred
- Exposure to emerging innovative technologies in business applications is an advantage
- Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving high-quality outcomes, consistently pushing for greater efficiency and performance
