Public Policy Manager supporting the implementation of public affairs strategy for Satispay. Involves policy analysis, advocacy, and engagement with EU institutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the operational planning and execution of Satispay’s public affairs and government relations strategy.
Analyze and report on key legislative and regulatory developments impacting the FinTech sector at the national (Italy) and EU levels.
Work with the team in implementing targeted strategies to effectively advocate for Satispay’s interests and positions with policymakers, industry stakeholders, representative associations.
Provide in-depth analysis and strategic perspective in contributions to position papers, policy notes, public consultations.
A general knowledge of European political mechanisms, including EU co-decision procedures is required, in order to strategically engage with institutions and representative associations in Brussels.
Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, characterized by constant evolution and the necessity for quick, yet coherent adaptation of public policy strategies.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of professional experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Regulatory Affairs in Italy.
Previous experience working within the FinTech industry (either in-house or as an account manager for FinTech clients at a Public Policy/Consulting firm) is a significant plus.
Very strong and proven knowledge of national political dynamics and mechanisms in Italy.
Extensive experience with European political dynamics and institutions will be considered a strong nice to have.
Deep understanding of national parliamentary procedures and European co-decision procedures.
Knowledge of legislative drafting.
Demonstrated track record in successfully implementing strategic advocacy and public affairs campaigns.
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
Proven ability to work and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, challenging, and constantly evolving business environment.
