Engineer responsible for project planning, control, and oversight at SANDECH, focusing on REPETRO compliance. Collaborate with various teams and manage project documentation.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling projects under the REPETRO regime, ensuring adherence to schedule, costs, regulatory requirements and standards established by the Client and the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal).
Prepare, update and detail weekly and monthly schedules, with clear definition of milestones, activities and owners.
Sequence activities, define critical paths and identify schedule constraints.
Monitor the physical and financial progress of project activities.
Consolidate field measurements and prepare progress reports.
Analyze deviations between planned vs. actual, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
Support the preparation of project budgets and financial control.
Record expenses, commitments and cost variances.
Produce cost performance reports and support mitigation actions.
Assist in identifying operational and schedule risks and monitor mitigation plans.
Control scope change requests, assessing impacts on schedule and cost.
Keep the project baseline updated, documented and traceable.
Prepare and share progress reports with the Client.
Maintain continuous interface with field teams to validate progress and constraints.
Ensure traceability of project decisions, records and information.
Keep planning documentation up to date (WBS, activity lists and milestones).
Apply internal standards, procedures and planning and control best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Experience in planning and control of industrial or offshore projects.
Knowledge of REPETRO and interaction with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) (a plus).
Experience with schedules, cost control and progress reporting.
Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple areas.
Availability to work on-site at Porto do Açu and for occasional travel.
Advanced English.
