About the role
- Verification Engineer supporting the verification of complex, safety critical embedded systems. Involves hands-on testing, automation development, and test environment engineering.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced Embedded C++ Software Product Tester to support the verification of complex, safety critical embedded systems in a full end to end environment. The role combines hands on testing, test strategy ownership, automation development, and test environment engineering. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in embedded systems testing, solid networking/telco knowledge, and the ability to operate confidently in complex multi component system environments.
Requirements
- Strong background in Embedded Systems Testing (C++ on RTOS / custom HW)
- Hands‑on experience with network & protocol validation (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP)
- Good understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, packet inspection
- Telecom knowledge: 4G/5G Core, ideally Radio as well
- Wi‑Fi technology understanding
- Test automation (Python, Bash), CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Skilled in debugging & analysis (GDB, Wireshark, logic analyzers)
- Solid grasp of QA methodologies, documentation, traceability, defect lifecycle
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- ISTQB certification preferred (any level)
- Additional training in networking or telecom is an advantage
- Nice to Have: Experience with Train‑to‑Ground or transportation systems
- Nice to Have: Experience working with large, distributed, multi‑component systems
