Jr. NPI Engineer supporting product and process implementation at Establishment Labs, a rapidly growing medical device company. Collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality operations compliance.
Responsibilities
Supports experienced engineers (Professional or Senior Professional) in the introduction to Operations of new products, processes, sub-processes, tools, and technologies (software and equipment)
Supports experienced engineers (Professional or Senior Professional) in the process and design changes to existing products (that do not affect the fit, form, and function), as well as the introduction of existing products to new markets or their transfer to other facilities
Supports experienced engineers (Professional or Senior Professional) in the master data creation of new products/processes and updates to the master data of existing products/processes in the ERP System or any other applicable system.
Leads, promotes, and implements value engineering actions.
Supports the execution of experimental tests, and technical studies, within quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Reports project status to the direct manager and other managers involved in projects assigned.
Leads, promotes, and implements value Improvement Projects and initiatives.
Identifies preventive/corrective actions related to EHS.
Support experienced engineers (Professional or Senior Professional) in specific tasks of the corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and Non-Conforming Event Report (NCER) activities related to New Production Introduction.
Requirements
Completed or advanced university studies (at least 75% of the degree completed) in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working in positions related to the studied career.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Intermediate English (written and conversational)
SAP, Solidworks, Minitab or equivalent, Project or equivalent, Visio, Statistical data analysis
Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, Project Management, Design Controls, Process Validation
