About the role
- Project Analyst responsible for managing the technology portfolio at Rumo Logística. Engaging in project prioritization and performance monitoring for strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the portfolio of technology initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, disciplined intake, prioritization and monitoring of project performance.
- Responsible for structuring planning, forecasts, physical progress curve and financial curve, ensuring executive visibility, governance and data-driven decision making.
- Manage the technology project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Support the strategic prioritization process of initiatives.
- Structure and monitor strategic planning, schedules and project milestones.
- Classify incoming requests (strategic / quick win / maintenance/support).
- Work closely with Business Partners (BPs) and requesting areas.
- Monitor project forecasts (scope, schedule, cost and capacity).
- Build and track the physical progress curve (delivery evolution) and the financial curve (budgeted vs. actual).
- Prepare executive materials and dashboards for governance committees.
- Ensure disciplined intake of initiatives into the portfolio by evaluating the minimum required information.
- Track portfolio performance indicators and propose improvements.
- Identify risks, dependencies and impacts between projects.
- Support the standardization of methodologies, templates and project management processes.
- Collaborate closely with business areas and technology teams.
- Consolidate information for reporting to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in project management or PMO.
- Experience in governance or demand management.
- Knowledge of strategic planning and performance monitoring.
- Experience with forecasting, performance indicators and data analysis.
- Knowledge of physical progress curves and financial curves.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations.
- Advanced Excel and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Organizational skills, analytical mindset and ability to structure information.
- Knowledge of agile and/or traditional methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK).
