Responsibilities
Achieve sales/variable margin targets for the assigned territory or segment by maintaining existing relationships with our customers and distributors
Prospect and pursue business development opportunities
Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and Roquette
Develop growth tactics within the territory
Conduct interactions with customers and distributors
Lead the negotiation process, from the initial offer to contracts and pricing
Build the sales pipeline and drive growth of the account portfolio
Compile market intelligence to support territorial strategy development and identify opportunities to expand our solutions
Implement and monitor key performance indicators for account management and growth initiatives
Manage business opportunities in cooperation with technical and marketing team members
Contribute to updating sales forecasts
Understand market trends and report the voice of the customer to provide actionable input for internal commercial and marketing strategy
Requirements
University degree (Master’s or engineering degree), preferably in cosmetic science or chemistry
Additional commercial/business training is a plus
Experience: minimum 8 years’ experience in sales/business development within the cosmetics industry
Good knowledge of CRM systems
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) – SAP and Salesforce are a plus
Good analytical skills
Autonomous and responsible approach to work
Business travel 30–40% of the time
Fluent in English (knowledge of an additional language is a plus)
