About the role

  • Cost Manager in construction consultancy managing project costs from design to completion across various sectors. Engaging in ambitious projects and benefiting from mentoring in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost of a building project, from the initial design stages through to the building’s completion.
  • Focus on a variety of sectors including residential (private and public sector), education (universities) and infrastructure (rail).
  • Join established team in Bristol and contribute to continued growth in the West & Wales region.
  • Work on the most ambitious and exciting projects in the built environment sector.
  • Participate in tailored training programme, mentoring and reverse mentoring schemes.

Requirements

  • Proven technical delivery experience on similar projects.
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager role in a consultancy environment.
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.
  • Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline (RICS Accredited).
  • Recognised as a client focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to their peers and seniors.
  • Recognised as a team player with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
