About the role

  • Senior Product Manager leading strategy and execution for Attune's proprietary insurance products. Collaborating with underwriting and engineering teams to enhance small business insurance access.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Product Strategy: Drive the development, go-to-market strategy, and underwriting integration for proprietary insurance products.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with underwriters, insurance product managers, engineers, and designers to build scalable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Orchestrate cross-functional projects and manage critical relationships with external carrier partners.
  • Requirements Synthesis: Translate complex insurance regulations and non-technical requirements into precise technical specifications and a cohesive product roadmap.
  • Execution & Visibility: Communicate development velocity, manage milestones, and provide transparent reporting on product health.
  • Roadmap Prioritization: Sequence product initiatives based on ROI, technical feasibility, and corporate mandate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role, specifically within the P&C insurance domain.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in launching complex, long-term projects and managing continuous iterative improvements.
  • Communication Excellence: Ability to distill complex technical and insurance concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Domain Expertise: Mastery of industry-specific terminology and concepts, including COIs, NKLLs, and Subrogation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience partnering closely with engineering teams on technical architecture, including the ability to review and debug JSON.
  • Agile Leadership: Deep expertise in Agile methodologies and modern software development lifecycles.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to drive alignment and influence senior leadership without formal authority.
