About the role

  • IT Administrator managing user access and IT infrastructure for RIVUS Consulting LLC. Specializing in cybersecurity, data management, and software licensing.

Responsibilities

  • User & Access Management – Create/manage user accounts, assign permissions, and remove access
  • Devices & Hardware – Configure laptops/desktops, install/update software, track IT assets
  • Cybersecurity – Manage firewall/security tools, antivirus, phishing protection, and password policies
  • Data Management & Backup – Administer SharePoint sites, manage OneDrive/SharePoint backups, recovery, and secure file sharing
  • Software & Licensing – Manage software subscriptions, license tracking, and usage optimization
  • Email & Communication – Setup, troubleshoot, and manage email systems and archiving
  • IT Support – Support onboarding of new staff and troubleshoot day-to-day user issues
  • Vendor Management – Coordinate with IT vendors and software providers
  • Compliance & Documentation – Maintain IT policies, procedures, and user documentation
  • SharePoint Intranet – Maintain and update internal company intranet portal
  • Corporate Website & Social Media – Maintain and update company website and social media platforms
  • Cloud Deployment – Manage AWS environments including Lightsail and EC2 instances
  • Automation – Develop and maintain workflows using n8n and manage hosted instances on AWS
  • Client Project Support – Database Development and Project Performance Dashboards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of relevant IT administration experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange)
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, Lightsail)
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing software licensing and subscriptions
  • Familiarity with automation tools (n8n or similar) preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to develop custom database application and Power BI/Other Dashboards
