About the role

  • Head of Affiliate Partnerships at Reward Gateway focused on UK affiliate strategy and leading a high-performing team. Responsible for developing and optimising affiliate partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, leading and scaling the affiliate channel across the UK market aligned to our business goals.
  • Lead the UK affiliate team, a team of 8 based in the UK and Bulgaria who are responsible for growth of merchant partnerships across leading verticals by negotiating best in market offers and commercials.
  • Focused on driving revenue growth and commercial opportunities through optimising margins for affiliate commission and maximising media budget spend from key retailers against defined internal KPIs and targets.
  • Relationship management of strategic key accounts to ensure best in class, long term retailer relationships with defined goals and shared KPIs are forged and maintained.
  • Internal stakeholder responsible for communicating affiliate market trends, emerging opportunities and industry developments.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams such as Product and Marketing to ensure prioritisation of go-to-market strategy and that partner offers are communicated effectively to our user base via marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a senior stakeholder for key partnerships with affiliate network and agencies, ensuring RGER is front of mind and maximises opportunities through their client base.
  • Represent RGER at industry events and wider networking opportunities, such as RGER’s Gold membership status with the Affiliate & Partner Marketing Association trade body. Help to position RGER as an industry thought leader, through content and events.
  • Responsible for the ongoing learning and development of the team, creating a high performance culture to surpass targets and deliver a best-in-class retailer experience.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of the affiliate industry, including experience either at a publisher or interacting directly with publishers.
  • An established people manager, with strong experience of leading teams to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the Publisher landscape and business models essential – particularly within the closed user group space with understanding of discount codes and cashback as reward solutions.
  • Deep experience of industry relationships and dynamics, such as the interplay between publishers, retailers, affiliate networks and agencies.
  • Strong understanding of how tracking and attribution underpin affiliate performance, with the confidence to engage partners and internal teams, ask the right questions, and guide decisions.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to recognise opportunities whilst ensuring our partnerships deliver both commercial and customer value.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience working efficiently and effectively cross functionally with various teams and proven ability to influence decisions successfully.
  • Good analytical skills and confidence working with data, reporting and commercial metrics delivering regular performance updates to senior leaders.
  • Ability to foster a motivating, performance driven culture with a clear vision of team development.
