About the role
- Senior Tax Analyst at a multinational healthcare company specializing in high-complexity renal treatments. Responsible for tax reporting, compliance, and fiscal audits in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and reconciliation of direct and indirect taxes (ISS, IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS)
- Tax calculation under the real profit (Lucro Real) and presumed profit (Lucro Presumido) regimes
- Preparation and filing of tax and statutory obligations (DCTFWeb, EFD-Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, ECF, DIRF, among others)
- Participation in improvement and automation projects in Protheus
- Support for audits, public tenders and inspections by regulatory authorities
- Management of certificates and documentation relevant to the tax area
- Reconciliation of tax accounts, analysis of balances and tax provisions
- Accounting understanding to monitor and verify the effects/impacts of tax entries on financial statements
- Support in the analysis and recovery of tax credits, including sector-specific exemptions and immunities
- Direct liaison with Accounting, Treasury, Billing and with clinics to ensure accurate tax reporting
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the tax area (with prior senior-level responsibility)
- Strong, specific knowledge of all routine tax activities, including tax calculations, control of tax documentation, accounting entries, legislation, etc.
- Experience in Accounting is a plus
- Experience in healthcare companies is a plus (clinics, hospitals, health plans, etc.) and experience in multisite or multi‑sector companies (organizations with multiple branches or subsidiaries)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, spreadsheets, pivot tables) are mandatory
- Experience with Totvs ERP Protheus is a plus; however, it is mandatory to have experience and knowledge of business systems beyond basic interface use, including understanding integrations between modules, master data, reporting and general system tools
