About the role
- Technical Training Coordinator designing and implementing training programs for RailWorks. Collaborating with SMEs to enhance employee performance and knowledge through effective training methods.
Responsibilities
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and develop new training material as required.
- Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
- Work with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Technical Trainers to validate new content in a test environment.
- Maintain existing training programs and material to ensure that programs are relevant and encompass all current standards.
- Monitors end‐user feedback to facilitate continuing improvement of training material.
- Simultaneously handle multiple training projects in various stages of development.
- Manages training development projects including timelines, development of costs, development of content.
- Support a learning culture to maintain ongoing employee development.
- Assist the Technical Trainer to meet set goals and timelines.
- Represents the company at training‐related meetings.
- Establish a learning culture to maintain ongoing employee development.
- Perform other duties as required by the Training Manager.
Requirements
- Post‐secondary degree/diploma program in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees.
- Ability to create graphics, animations, and other supporting content for instructor led content.
- Experience and success with implementation of new systems, processes, procedures.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision‐making ability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
