  • Training Specialist focusing on conducting training needs assessments and developing training programs for Marathon Petroleum Corporation. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs training needs assessments
  • Analyzes best methods to effectively deploy training
  • Designs, develops, coordinates, schedules, and implements training content
  • Ensures a consistent learning experience across the organization
  • Evaluates training needs and assesses training programs
  • Develops and delivers in-house training programs, classes, exams and evaluations
  • Serves as primary point of contact for vendor training
  • Creates and manages instructional materials
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure training accuracy
  • Organizes and facilitates onboarding sessions for new hires
  • Manages logistics for training sessions
  • Solicits feedback for and evaluates training effectiveness
  • Administers Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Maintains training records and documentation

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Two (2) years or more of experience required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Travel: Up to 40%
