About the role
- Quantitative Analytics Analyst developing and maintaining analytical frameworks to support Pricing, FP&A, and Portfolio Management at Radian. Analyzing and processing loan level data sets locally and in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python based analytical frameworks and data models
- Analyze and process loan level data sets locally and in cloud based platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Perform data exploration and analysis on structured and unstructured data sets
- Create and present clear analytical presentations to senior management
- Maintain accurate version control and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 2 or more years of prior work-related experience
- Bachelor's Degree - Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science or Mathematics
- High proficiency in analysis and modeling
- Background in financial concepts and metrics
- Knowledge of mortgage and insurance related concepts
- 2-3 years of experience within an analytical group
- Experience in data analysis using scripting languages (Python, SQL, or R)
- Strong work ethic and independent problem-solving capabilities
