About the role

  • Intern supporting the CEO's office on growth initiatives within a venture-backed healthcare AI startup. Collaborating on new business lines and driving strategic execution.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute on the new business lines and growth opportunities the company has prioritized, owning workstreams that move them from greenlight to traction.
  • Partner across product, GTM, and partnerships to unblock execution, drive decisions to closure, and keep growth initiatives on pace.
  • Stand up the customer-facing artifacts a new business line needs to land, pitch decks, one-pagers, pricing collateral, early case studies, and partner with leadership to put them to work.
  • Build the early metrics and feedback loops that tell us whether a new line is working, surfacing what's resonating, what isn't, and what to adjust.
  • Operate as an extension of the Office of the CEO on the company's most important priorities, jumping in where help is needed and proactively flagging what's falling through the cracks.
  • Maintain visibility into where key strategic bets are gaining momentum or stalling, and synthesize that picture into clear updates for leadership.
  • Produce analyses, decks, and written briefings that shape how Qualified Health approaches consequential decisions, with the rigor of a first-rate consulting or banking workstream.
  • Drive specific partnership workstreams forward, with technology ecosystem partners, thought leadership organizations, policy bodies, and industry associations, with a focus on partnerships that unlock growth.
  • Structure each relationship to generate real value, not just activity, and build the materials and follow-through that move conversations from interest to outcome.
  • Own a defined workstream on Qualified Health's transformation into an AI-native organization: identify a specific function or process, map how AI can take ownership of it, prototype the new way of working, and deliver a recommendation the company can actually implement.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an MBA graduate degree
  • Prior experience or coursework that demonstrates structured thinking, clear communication, and execution under ambiguity, e.g., management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, a high-growth startup, or rigorous analytical/research roles.
  • A bias to action. You'd rather ship a v1 and iterate than wait for the perfect plan.
  • Strong project management instincts; comfort running a workstream, holding cross-functional partners accountable, and driving decisions to closure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complexity into a clear recommendation and write a crisp executive briefing.
  • High ownership and high standards. You don't need to be told twice, and you don't wait for someone else to raise the bar.
  • Comfort operating at multiple altitudes, moving from planning to execution and back, often in the same day.
  • Experience or strong intellectual curiosity about healthcare, AI, or enterprise software preferred. Curiosity about healthcare AI is required.

Benefits

  • A paid summer internship at the center of one of the most consequential technology transitions in healthcare.
  • Direct proximity to the CEO, Chief of Staff, and broader leadership team, with broad visibility into how a venture-backed health AI company executes on growth.
  • A real portfolio of work, no coffee runs, no busywork. You'll own meaningful, execution-oriented growth projects with the autonomy to drive them and the access to make them matter.
  • Mentorship from the Office of the CEO and structured opportunities to learn across functions.
  • A team that takes the work seriously and moves fast.
