Responsibilities
Participate in the completion of SR&ED claims (Canada) and R&D tax credit claims (US)
Complete assignments on time and within budget to meet client expectations
Provide practical solutions to optimize clients' returns from SR&ED and other government incentives
Attend meetings and support clients during SR&ED reviews
Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above
Engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities
Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
Requirements
Proven engineer or technical management including competencies in mechanical or chemical engineering
A degree or education in an engineering field or related discipline
Prior experience with the SR&ED tax credit program is preferred but not required
Strong client-service orientation focused on achieving high quality, timely and profitable results
