About the role
- Junior Data Analyst in Forensic Technology Services team at PwC analyzing data for fraud detection. Utilizing advanced tools to create visualizations and support fraud investigations.
Responsibilities
- Analyse information from various IT systems and public data sources to identify trends and connections between data and to identify signs of fraud or other wrongful behavior.
- Searching for evidence of fraud and abuse within a company’s finance system.
- Creating visualizations in PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, PlotLy or similar.
- Learn how to use and analyse data using advanced digital forensic tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Technology or scientific background (university degree not required if you have basic skills, some experience and curious and analytical mindset).
- Very good command of the English language (Czech or Slovak is a big plus).
- Basic knowledge of at least one of: SQL, Python, R or other scripting or programming languages.
- PowerBI, Tableau or other visualization tools are a plus.
- Teamwork skills, high ethical standards.
- Attention to detail.
