About the role

  • Patient Access Supervisor managing admissions, registration, and insurance verification processes at Presbyterian's urgent care centers. Leading staff to ensure compliance and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and support Patient Access staff
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor productivity, staffing, and workflow efficiency across multiple registration areas
  • Assist with setting productivity benchmarks and aligning staffing with patient volumes
  • Support quality documentation and issue resolution
  • Manage work queues and billing reports
  • Collaborate with leadership to address operational issues
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field; at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
