About the role
- Senior Accounting Analyst role at PPRO involved in day-to-day accounting activities and developing financial reporting systems. Collaborating with a diverse global team across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day activities within the accounting department.
- Develop and implement systems to collect, analyze, validate, and report financial information.
- Process general ledger transactions for multiple PPRO entities, covering all Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet activities.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review financial documents for accuracy and assist in reconciling accounts.
- Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.
- Support the Accounting Team Lead with AP/AR processes as required.
- Assist Financial Accountants with postings for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes as needed.
- Support the wider accounting team in their duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in accounting or in a tax consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge and experience with accounting standards (IFRS / local GAAP).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with remote teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including professionalism and a collaborative attitude.
