Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations; identify, analyze and resolve discrepancies with the relevant departments by reviewing controls, processes and source systems;
- Post accounting entries to Fixed Assets group accounts and review and validate the monthly depreciation calculation, identifying errors and process failures;
- Import and ensure correct accounting of payroll through monitoring and verification of the payroll interface;
- Maintain confidentiality of accounting-related information, safeguarding data not yet disclosed by the insurer;
- Prepare documentation and reports for external audit, providing explanations for variations in balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Contribute to the implementation of new internally developed systems by monitoring progress, making suggestions and performing tests to validate data;
- Analyze requirements for the annual Chart of Accounts updates and monitor necessary changes during the fiscal year;
- Propose simplification and automation of processes to pursue efficiency and security, reducing errors in the financial statements;
- Record monetary adjustments for judicial deposits and other contingencies;
- Advise employees from other departments on the proper accounting treatment of transactions, guiding them on how to identify and resolve questions;
- Review and validate information submitted to accounting from source systems via interfaces, reconciliations, documentation and comparison of control reports produced by the departments.

- Bachelor's degree completed in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis) — Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC) — 1 year
