About the role
- Senior Data Systems Analyst in price governance at Porto, ensuring integrity and performance standards. Collaborating with various departments to align strategies and produce compliance reports.
Responsibilities
- Validate data integrity and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks in pricing implementations.
- Serve as a consultative link between Product, Pricing, IT and Operations departments, ensuring that strategy execution is aligned with governance standards.
- Produce dashboards related to calculations and policy issuances, and prepare and present compliance reports to leadership, translating technical data into strategic opportunities.
- Promote and disseminate best practices to ensure the organization understands the impact of price systems governance on the final results of each implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL database language.
- Knowledge of APIs and GCP cloud platform. Experience with other platforms (AWS, Azure and Databricks) is a plus.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Data Studio).
- Proficiency in automation tools, bots and AI solutions.
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and the insurance market.
- Solid understanding of governance processes.
- Experience working with agile process models (Scrum, Kanban and Lean) and waterfall methodology.
- Ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders and to lead meetings with diverse audiences.
- Understanding of how pricing policy impacts the entire value chain.
- Maturity to handle confidential information and meet critical deadlines without constant leadership validation.
- Manage the roles and responsibilities of each involved area, as well as the price validation and monitoring processes for insurance products.
- Build monitoring dashboards to validate pricing rules with automated processes and alerts using random sampling.
- Build and monitor pricing tomography for daily tracking of quotes, requests and policy issuances.
- Validate pricing inconsistencies identified pre- and post-implementation.
