About the role

  • Go-to-Market Manager driving revenue growth in Japan for AI startup focused on enhancing professional productivity. Leading market strategies across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own Japan market revenue growth, driving GMV, conversion, and profitability across DTC, Amazon, and offline channels.
  • Develop and execute data-driven go-to-market strategies, including pricing, promotions, and channel mix optimization.
  • Analyze and optimize full-funnel performance (traffic → conversion → retention) to improve ROI and efficiency.
  • Lead e-commerce growth initiatives (Amazon & DTC), including campaign planning, merchandising, and performance optimization.
  • Define channel strategy and drive cross-functional execution, translating market insights into revenue-impacting actions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in GTM, Growth, E-commerce, or Revenue roles with direct ownership of business outcomes.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth (GMV, sales, ROI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions (Excel, BI, analytics tools).
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon, DTC (Shopify or equivalent), or digital commerce platforms.
  • Strong business acumen (pricing, margin, channel strategy) with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments; business-level English required, Japanese preferred.
