About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage hybrid environments, administering on-premises virtualization clusters (Proxmox/VMware) and cloud instances.
- Maintain Linux servers on Enterprise distributions (Debian, Ubuntu and RHEL), performing performance troubleshooting, kernel management and administration of critical services such as Nginx, Apache and databases.
- Operate and validate backup policies and Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring compliance with the business-defined RPO and RTO.
- Configure and maintain network topologies, including VLANs and static and dynamic routing.
- Ensure the stability and operation of VPN tunnels (Site-to-Site and Client-to-Site).
- Administer essential infrastructure services such as DNS, Active Directory (AD), DHCP and IP address management.
- Apply hardening practices to operating systems and services to reduce the attack surface.
- Manage perimeter security using firewalls (FortiGate or similar), ACL rules, WAF and monitoring of intrusion attempts.
- Support GRC activities by providing technical evidence for ISO 27001 audits and compliance with LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), ensuring traceability and access control (IAM).
- Implement automation of operational routines using scripts (Bash and Python) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible and Terraform), ensuring conformity with approved standards.
- Maintain monitoring platforms (Zabbix and Grafana) and log analysis systems (Wazuh and ELK), working proactively to prevent service degradation.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Linux server administration.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization using Proxmox.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, the OSI model and troubleshooting latency and connectivity issues.
- Experience with critical Private Cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cryptography, SSL/TLS certificates and vulnerability management.
