About the role
- Senior Consultant managing audits for national and international clients in various industries. Responsible for the team's output and providing consulting in accounting and taxation matters.
Responsibilities
- Lead audits of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Responsible for the team’s deliverables and the preparation of working papers
- Support special audits and advisory projects with an operational/business focus
- Identify areas for improvement and provide solution-oriented advice to clients
- Advise on accounting-related, tax and business-management issues
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in external audit
- Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards
- Aspiring to qualify as a tax advisor (Steuerberater) or certified public auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer)
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Good command of English
- Independent and self-reliant working style
