About the role
- Elections Aide providing IT support for the Recorders Office's technological needs. Responsible for equipment management, help desk support, and assisting with election processes.
Responsibilities
- Disposition and inventory of all IT equipment
- Installation of networked devices such as scanners and peripherals
- Testing of ballot on demand printers and other IT equipment
- Help desk support for installation of software, modifying and repairing hardware, and resolving various technical issues
- Work in bi-partisan teams to process early ballots for tabulation
- Prepares election supplies and voting machines for delivery to poll locations

- Transports and receives election ballots, returns, and precinct supplies
- Works in a bi-partisan team to troubleshoot problems on election day
- Provides information to voters concerning the election
Requirements
- Must be a registered voter with current registration in Pima County
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education as determined by the department head
- Experience learning new technology, products, or technical knowledge
- Experience with/knowledge of troubleshooting software or IT hardware
