About the role
- Investment Operations Analyst performing accounting and reporting functions at PGIM. Engaging with internal partners to support investment operations and processes within Money Markets Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of investment support functions, including accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Gain experience in short term investments held in various MMIP (Money Market Investment Pool) and other Short Term Stand-alone portfolios
- Support all internal business partners (Fixed Income, CIO, Treasurers, PMA, etc.)
- Support the monthly and quarterly close process as well as Enterprise initiatives
- Receive on-the-job training as well as professional training courses
- Work in a challenging environment on complex financial transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and solutions oriented
- Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline and fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to summarize and communicate complex issues effectively, both orally and in writing
- Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services industry is strongly preferred
