Account Manager focused on client growth and retention in a fintech environment. Aiding entrepreneurs in managing their financial operations and increasing client engagement.
Responsibilities
Ensure the growth of the customer base: identify opportunities for new plans for customers (upsell) and propose our service catalog to customers (cross-sell)
Help reduce churn and downgrade requests
Proactively contact customers at risk of churn using our predictive algorithm (Health Score)
Convince customers requesting cancellation to stay
Convince customers requesting to downgrade to remain on their current plan
Contribute to product and service improvements: relay customer feedback to our product development teams and collaborate with various teams at Pennylane to enhance the services offered.
Requirements
Initial experience in complex sales in an SDR or Business Developer role, with an interest in developing account management skills
Strong questioning and listening skills to identify and understand issues in depth
An interest in technology is a plus, including familiarity with current fintech products on the market
Experience selling to B2B SME decision-makers, ideally CFOs / Heads of Finance or other finance leaders
Experience selling SaaS products is a plus
English proficiency (level will be assessed and valued depending on the department you apply to)
Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment
Prioritize collaboration within your team and with other stakeholders
Ability to step back and prioritize high-impact business actions in your daily work
