About the role
- Director of Revenue Accounting leading all revenue-related accounting for home health and hospice services. Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and overseeing revenue operations in Idaho and Utah.
Responsibilities
- Lead all revenue-related accounting for the company’s home health, hospice, and home care services
- Ensure accurate, compliant revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, CMS rules, and SOX 404
- Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting for Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care programs
- Own ASC 606 technical positions, policies, and revenue models
- Approve monthly revenue entries, reconciliations, and reserves
- Ensure accurate Medicare/Medicaid reporting
- Build and maintain SOX-compliant revenue and billing controls
- Lead and develop the revenue accounting team
- Support M&A due diligence, integrations, and system conversions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience, including 3+ in leadership
- Strong ASC 606 and healthcare revenue expertise
- Public company/SOX 404 experience
- Knowledge of home health, hospice, and Medicaid/managed care reimbursement
