Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems
Provide recommendations for immediate repairs
Use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation, and organization
Prepare technical reports and quality supporting documents
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones
Effectively communicate project progress and issues to Project Manager and client
Provide recommendations and solutions to Project Manager and clients
Requirements
A Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
3+ years of experience performing property inspections
2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Must have a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation to project sites
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on projects concurrently with a proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
Familiar with civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering principles
Understand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costs
