About the role
- Senior Data Analyst proposing adjustments to credit policies based on performance indicators for a financial institution. Collaborating with teams to ensure regulatory compliance and improve credit processes.
Responsibilities
- Propose adjustments to credit rules and policies based on performance indicators;
- Document credit granting policies;
- Work with the commercial and compliance teams to ensure alignment between strategy and operations;
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal controls related to credit granting;
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on projects and analyses related to credit granting and portfolio delinquency, translating complex data into clear insights;
- Support the collections team with data, metrics and analyses that guide improvements to the collections process and effective recovery of delinquent customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in consumer (individual) credit risk;
- Strong knowledge of key credit risk indicators used to evaluate the performance of decision models (Over30, Over60, Over90, Ever, PDD, cost of credit, roll-rate, etc.);
- Analytical profile capable of performing complex data analyses, identifying problems and opportunities for improvement;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to define and advocate credit policies to senior management;
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Basic knowledge of statistics;
- Experience with Databricks;
- Previous experience with private payroll-deductible loans (consigned credit);
- Knowledge of statistics;
- Python.
