About the role
- Junior Data Analyst managing data pipelines for operations, finance, and customer experience teams at Tails.com. Aiding in data quality, availability, and identifying opportunities for improvements.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of pipelines supporting our operations, finance and customer experience teams
- Apply foundational data skills in ensuring a high level of data quality and availability
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements and complete ad-hoc analyses
- Partner with stakeholders across Tails.com to understand deeply how these activities align with the overall company performance
- Leverage and develop strong communication skills in translating between business problems and data driven analysis
- Ensure operations and factory teams have timely and clearly reported information about their processes
- Work on analyses and metrics to improve performance of operations, such as improving wastage calculations, supplier scoring or ingesting new data sources
- Identify opportunities for improvements in data pipelines, reporting availability or clarity and business processes itself
- Support in month-end reporting and reconciliation, working closely between finance and operations teams
- Provide timely metrics to monitor performance of the CX function at different levels of granularity
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics
- A strong communicator, with an ability to collaborate with partners across different functions in refining business problems into specific data questions
- Solid proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and/or Python, as well as spreadsheet analyses
- Experience with data visualisation as a storytelling tool leveraging BI tools (e.g. ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.)
- A strong drive to not only support but suggest, implement and monitor process improvements and efficiencies
- Proficient time management, with the ability to source, generate, prioritise and deliver on the most impactful work collaboratively with key partners
