About the role

  • Financial Coordinator overseeing budget, payment processes, and financial operations at OZ Minerals in Brazil. Leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring financial compliance with organizational directives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the finance team and financial services, including foreign exchange, credit and banking activities;
  • Prepare departmental budgets;
  • Coordinate payment processing and verify execution together with the finance team;
  • Manage collections, coordinating and seeking alternatives to resolve outstanding issues;
  • Work directly with foreign exchange operations;
  • Attend meetings with direct managers and the finance team, responsible for directing the team in accordance with company guidelines;
  • Guide the preparation, timeliness and quality of information composing cash flow reports, according to the periodicity or needs defined by the company — including current accounts, investments and financing — with the objective of controlling the company's financial resources;
  • Strengthen the interface and alignment of information between accounts payable and receivable, treasury, investments, financing, foreign exchange, and other areas with the Accounting and Tax departments, ensuring the consistency of data provided to various levels of the company;
  • Negotiate with financial institutions the best terms for funding, rates, payment terms and other related conditions to meet loan or financing requests presented by Executive Management;
  • Interact with banks on routine treasury operations, resource availability, document submission, negotiation of terms, and other activities to ensure optimal planning and control of financial flows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA;
  • Advanced or fluent English;
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams;
  • Experience in the finance area;
  • Knowledge of people management;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
